For over 40 years, it has been developing and producing pL LEHMANN® Compact, high-precision CNC rotary tables. The powerful design offers many useful features, such as a built-in booster for spindle clamping, an internal monitoring system for all important functions, Wi-Fi for remote servicing, and much more. The product line also offers a variety of workpiece clamping options, including options for fully automatic loading and unloading by robots. The range is divided into geared and direct drive rotary tables and offers numerous possibilities thanks to its modular system.
Gear turntable – Series 500 PGD
PGD-Getriebe (Radgetrieben, Serie 500)
The robust 500 series gear rotary tables are extremely versatile and can be reconfigured or expanded at any time thanks to the combiFLEX® modular system to meet new machining tasks. The rotary tables are not only suitable for positioning operations but can also be used for short simultaneous machining operations. The preloaded gear and strong bearings enable high long-term accuracy and large spindle loads. The maximum clamping force of up to 7,000 Nm leaves little to be desired. Thanks to numerous options and accessories, each rotary table can be tailored to your specific needs.
Direct Drive Turntable – 900 DD Series
DD transmission (Direct Drive, Series 900)
The versatile direct-drive rotary tables of the 900 series are particularly suitable for HSC milling, for mill-turn machining, for modern power skiving, or even for demanding grinding operations. This transforms a simple and cost-effective 3-axis milling centre into a fully automatable, multi-functional 5-axis machine. The housing of the 900 DD series is fully IP 67 sealed, and even rotations of well over 2,000 rpm are not a problem. Can an existing measuring device be expanded with a positioning axis?
Yes, the Q-Line from pL LEHMANN is ideal here. Very simple connection via USB using a DLL driver. 1-axis and 2-axis systems are available, as well as a heavy-duty version with up to 120kg spindle load.
Is there a positioning axis that can be connected and operated via USB?
Yes, here is the measurement technology solution from pL LEHMANN. Directly usable as a Q-Line for the end customer or easily integrated via DLL for the OEM.
Can a CNC rotary axis with a rotary joint be used in measurement technology?
Yes, pL LEHMANN offers here with its Q-Line and its Heavy Duty version the possibility to use rotary unions, clamping cylinders and electrical clamping systems such as the E-Chuck from Maprox.
Can a CNC rotary axis be easily loaded by a robot?
Yes, pL LEHMANN offers various options here with its Q-Line, such as rotary joints, clamping cylinders, or even electrical clamping systems like Maprox's E-Chuck.
Are there any alternatives to 5-axis machines?
As an alternative, the 3+2 solution is recommended. This means a 3-axis machine is upgraded with a 2-axis rotary table. The advantages are obvious: lower investment costs and less space required with the same or better efficiency and flexibility.
I'd like to gain initial experience with 5-axis machining, but I can't afford a 5-axis machine. Could my 2-year-old machine be upgraded?
Yes, many machines can be upgraded. We offer complete sets. Depending on the machine control, even 5-axis simultaneous machining is possible.
